Absolute trash golf course. Staff in the pro-shop have attitudes from some reason and bark commands about golf carts... It's really bizarre. Simple requests and you get an arrogant attitude like they aren't register jockeys. The restaurant staff however are awesome; kind, helpful, the food was great, very much appreciated and we tipped them well. Their bunkers actually had plastic tarp like materials with a layer of sand over them which completely destroyed players strokes during a tournament. No driving range, just these junk little wooden stands with nets. It's also really inviting when all over the parking lot it says "heavy prowl area". Don't waste your time or money at the heap.

Staff was very rude in the clubhouse, but im willing to look past that because of how nice the course was. This is a challenging course for beginners for sure, and is quite the hike throughout. It is well maintained and greens are fast and very well kept, and this course provides many scenic and fun holes with some intresting approaches youll have to take. I would absolutely rent a cart, because i was so tired after how much walking it was and I walk most golf courses i go to. Staff in the clubhouse may have been not the best, but do not let it scare you away from the great course itself!

More and more impressed with this place every time I play. This was my childhood course and yeah it is sad to see it get so expensive, I’m happy with how much the quality has gone up with the price. Pace of play is also great, finished a round on fathers day weekend sub 4.5 hours which is really not too bad for a muni on a holiday. Fairways and greens are in such good shape.

Great course that’s in great condition! The golf carts are in excellent shape with coolers attached on the side. Nice putting and chipping areas to warm up. I’ve only been golfing a year and find this course to be just the right difficulty to be challenging but not frustrating for me as a beginner. Most important to me, everyone in the pro shop that I’ve interacted with has been super friendly and helpful. Whether it’s how they’re trained or their hiring process, I wish more golf courses were like Legion’s staff.

Great muni course! And is my favorite in the area! It is pretty straight forward course. There is no crazy dog leg left or right turns, but it has some elevation changes and water hazards around the course. The course has some long par 4s and a couple long par 3s if you play from the tips. The course is pretty forgiving and a good course to start playing on when you’re just beginning. On some holes you can see the cascades which is really pretty during sunset/sunrise or you can see the 2 eagles fly over course or swoop down next to you when they’re grabbing a branch or looking for food (nest locations; hole 7: to the right along the tree line. Hole 11: just to the left of the tee box. Hole 15 tree line to the left of the tee box.) This course Drains really well especially during the rainy season. LegionThe staff is also great! Some of the best people you’ll meet! They’re Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! Side note: they are doing some work right now to a couple cart paths and a bathroom. As they work on the course my friends I were thinking they should add a walking path around the water from hole 5 to 6, could be a good idea.
